Your Tasks
- Ensure that the appropriate assets (workforce, equipment/infrastructure, and materials/spare parts) for plant maintenance are available and used efficiently to achieve the required and agreed technical availability, as well as continuous improvement processes.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Lead, manage, train, coach, and develop the maintenance team with enthusiasm, ensuring a results-, process-, and problem-solving-oriented organization, and drive the implementation of the Preventive Maintenance System and TPM.
- Drive the organization to achieve operational performance and agreed budgets, ensuring the fulfillment of daily (SFM process), weekly, monthly (BCC process), quarterly, and annual (OP/SP) plant targets in terms of: safety performance, quality performance, delivery performance to internal and external customers, production volumes, manufacturing costs, productivity, working capital, profit, cash flow, production KPIs, and the “6 Vital Few” (LTAR, OPV, ITR, PPP, OEE, FCP), as well as long-term business objectives based on ZF OP/SP.
- Promote and foster a continuous improvement environment, ensuring a long-term vision for the plant supported by a detailed roadmap following the “ZF PS Way,” with a clear correlation between actions and results, aligned with Divisional/Corporate strategy.
- Ensure 24/7 support to the Production Unit, participating in the daily gemba agenda and observation-based approach.
- Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTTR, MTBF, technical availability, maintenance costs, and safety performance.
- Prepare the annual maintenance department budget.
- Comply with internal regulations, labor agreements, and health and safety instructions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Create and promote an EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and sustainability-focused environment within operations.
- Comply with internal regulations, employment contracts, and health and safety instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area according to 5S principles.
- Perform any other tasks that may arise, provided they are related to the scope of activities and in accordance with professional training.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information related to the employer, employees, and stakeholders.
- Comply with and maintain management systems IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 applicable to the workplace.
Your Profile
- Engineering preferably
- 5 years in the automotive industry desirable
- Experience in APQP and PPAP processes.
- Experience in dealing with automotive industry clients.
- Experience in Customer Specific Requirements and Automotive Core Tools.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949/ ISO14001/ ISO45001/ ISO9001
- Experience with Basic Statistical Tools (SPC, Cp/Cpk Studies, Gage R&R, Reliability studies, etc...)
- Desirable advance Statistical Tools (Confidence intervals studies, Hypothesis test, DOE's,etc...)
- Experience in analysis and solution of quality problems thru problem solving methodologies and techniques as 8D, A3, Green Belt, Fault tree analysis, 5Why's - 3 Legged, Is - Is not, 5W's - 2H's, etc....
- Knowledge of VDA 6.3 and IATF is needed
- Microsoft Office
- English 90%. (Desirable)
