Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure services, cloud architecture principles, and hands-on experience in deploying secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Azure-based cloud solution architectures for enterprise applications
  • Develop migration strategies for on-premises workloads to Azure
  • Provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure resources such as storage accounts, apps, Synapse, Databricks and Networking components. This includes creating resource groups, configuring access controls, and optimizing resource utilization
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance across Azure environments
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
  • Support deployment of data pipelines, analytics workloads, and Power BI integrations
  • Monitor and optimize cost and performance of Azure resources
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver robust solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for Azure adoption
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and integrations

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services: Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Storage, application gateway, Ai foundry, ML Studio, Networking, and Identity (Azure AD)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep)
  • Understanding of security and compliance frameworks in Azure
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
  • Experience in working Agile/ DevOps environment
  • Knowledge of Power BI service administration and gateway management
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Functional knowledge on any one of the domains like Manufacturing, Finance, Material Management, Sales etc is a plus
  • Azure Solutions Architect certification (AZ-305) is a plus
