Your Tasks
- Overseeing and coordinating routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) are functioning properly.
- Implementing and maintaining safety protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and responding to emergencies.
- Developing and managing budgets for maintenance, repairs, and capital projects, and ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Selecting, negotiating contracts with, and managing relationships with external contractors and vendors for various services.
- Supervising and coordinating the work of facilities staff
- Assisting in space planning and layout, ensuring optimal use of space and accommodating the needs of occupants.
- Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the building, its occupants, and products.
- Communicating effectively with tenants, staff, and contractors, and maintaining records and reports on facility operations.
- Implementing and promoting sustainable practices to reduce energy consumption and waste.
Your Profile
Manage a group of 5~7 Maintenance Technician to assure facilities supplies (electric energy, compressed air, water, HVAC, tap water, cooling towers, chiller, etc. All of them able to manufacture products at Driver Airbags and Steering Wheels Processes
- At least 5 years as Facilities Engineer
- Manage employees
- Bilingual English/Spanish 85% or more (Speaking and writing)
- Projects manage strong experience
- Vendors and Contractors management
- Safety Regulations and standards knowledge and experience
- HVAC systems strong experience
- Air compressed systems strong experience
- Design knowledge and experience on electrical, HAVC, compressed air, and all facilities systems
- Failure Analysis skills for facilities equipment
- Cost Optimization projects management
- Statistical data record, documentation, and analysis for facilities experience
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
- Resilient and able to work under pressure to reach project goals
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and headquarters personnel
- Very Good computer skills using MS Office
