Position Summary
The Digitalization and Process SAP Expert is responsible for driving business process optimization, digital transformation initiatives, and SAP system enhancements across the organization. This role bridges business needs and IT solutions, ensuring efficient, standardized, and automated processes using SAP and related digital tools.
Your Tasks
1. Process Optimization & Standardization
- Analyze, design, and improve end-to-end business processes (e.g., Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Manufacturing).
- Identify inefficiencies and implement lean, standardized processes aligned with best practices.
- Ensure process documentation (SOPs, workflows, governance models) is maintained and updated.
2. SAP System Expertise
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, WM/EWM depending on scope).
- Configure, test, and deploy SAP solutions to support business requirements.
- Lead or support SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades (e.g., S/4HANA), and enhancements.
3. Digital Transformation Initiatives
- Drive automation and digitalization using SAP tools and complementary platforms (e.g., SAP Fiori, RPA, analytics tools).
- Evaluate and implement digital solutions to improve visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Support integration with other enterprise systems and digital platforms.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT).
- Translate business requirements into functional SAP specifications.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
5. Data & Analytics
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across SAP systems.
- Support development of dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
- Enable data-driven decision-making through SAP analytics (e.g., SAP BW, SAC).
6. Project Management
- Lead or contribute to digitalization projects from concept to implementation.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and change management processes.
7. Training & Support
- Provide training and guidance to end users on SAP functionalities and new processes.
- Support issue resolution (incident/problem management).
- Promote adoption of digital tools and best practices.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with SAP systems and business process optimization.
- Proven experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrades (preferably S/4HANA).
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments is highly preferred.
