Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement standardized warehouse and logistics concepts across the Americas region.
  • Align regional logistics strategies with global SCM and corporate objectives.
  • Define best practices for warehouse design, layout, and material flow optimization.
  • Lead network optimization initiatives (distribution footprint, transport flows, inventory pos.
  • Design warehouse layouts including storage systems, automation solutions, and picking strategies.
  • Optimize space utilization, throughput, and operational efficiency.
  • Support new warehouse setups, expansions, and consolidations.
  • Analyze and improve inbound, internal, and outbound logistics processes.
  • Standardize logistics processes across plants and distribution centers.
  • Define KPIs and performance measurement systems for logistics operations.
  • Lead and support regional logistics and warehouse projects (greenfield and brownfield).
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, IT, procurement, engineering).
  • Act as subject matter expert in system implementations (e.g., WMS, automation solutions).
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies (automation, robotics, digitalization, WMS).
  • Support digital transformation in logistics (data analytics, simulation tools, digital twins).
  • Drive standardization of IT systems related to warehouse and logistics operations.

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor Degree, APICS Certification
  • +7 years experience in supply chain / WH/ automotive industry
  • Excellent English and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse design principles and material handling systems.
  • Experience with WMS, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and logistics IT tools.
  • Proficiency in simulation and layout tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Any Logic, or similar).
  • Data analysis skills (Excel advanced, Power BI, or similar tools).
  • Understanding of automation technologies (AGVs, AS/RS, robotics).
