What will you do?

  • Build and modify FEA models of airbags, seat belts and steering wheel components
  • Support the preparation of virtual crash simulations and occupant safety analyses
  • Work with commercial CAE tools and other engineering software
  • Run and monitor FEA computations in a professional HPC environment
  • Analyze simulation results and learn how to interpret crash-safety performance
  • Support the development and improvement of CAE methods
  • Optimize and automate workflows using scripting and AI tools
  • Cooperate with experienced CAE Engineers in an international project environment

 

Who are we looking for?

  • A student, graduate or early-career engineer in one of the following fields: mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, biomechanics, civil engineering or similar
  • You are interested in FEA, crash tests, simulations and data analysis
  • You have an analytical mindset and enjoy solving technical problems
  • You are accurate, systematic, proactive and willing to learn
  • You communicate well in English

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of one of the engineering tools, such as ANSYS, Abaqus, LS-DYNA, PamCrash, Radioss, Moldflow or MSC Adams
  • Basic Python or scripting skills
  • Interest in automotive safety, crashworthiness or numerical methods
