Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced purchasing professional with a strong automotive background who enjoys working in a dynamic project environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and a structured approach to project and supplier management.

What will you be doing with us?

• Take ownership of projects during the handover from Project Management and Engineering to Procurement. 
• Execute sourcing activities, RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract awards while achieving project cost targets. 
• Support regional project and quotation activities in close cooperation with plants and project teams. 
• Monitor and update BOM costs throughout the project lifecycle and report deviations against targets. 
• Manage procurement-related changes including engineering, sourcing, and logistics changes. 
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Strategic Buyers on supplier strategies, capacity risks, and supplier management topics. 
• Support supplier capacity management, phase-out activities, and Aftermarket transfers.
• Contribute to cost estimations for customer quotations and RFQs.

We would like to find a colleague who:

• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Has completed secondary education with at least 5 years of relevant experience or holds a university degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Is fluent in English.
• Has good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Possesses good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Understands cost management and key project targets.
