Essential Skills

  • Strong interest and working exposure in Software Asset Management (SAM) or related IT Asset / Service Management practices.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience or internship/project experience in:
    • Software Asset Management (SAM),
    • IT Asset Management (ITAM), or
    • Service Management platforms supporting asset, license, or configuration data.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow, with exposure to:
    • SAM, HAM, ITSM, or CMDB modules.
  • Relevant ServiceNow certification (e.g., ServiceNow SAM, ITSM, or CMDB fundamentals) is required or strongly preferred.
  • Strong interest in data management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI (dashboards, visualizations, basic data modelling).
  • Solid skills in Excel / structured data handling.


Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience supporting vendor license reviews, renewals, or due‑diligence activities.
  • Familiarity with POs, contracts, and license documentation stored in SharePoint or similar repositories.
  • Basic scripting or automation capability (Python, PowerShell, Power Automate).
  • Basic web development exposure (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
