Mechanical Engineer - AI & Automation

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical design, analysis, and simulation, along with an interest in automation and emerging AI technologies. The ideal candidate will leverage engineering expertise, Python programming, and AI/ML concepts to develop innovative solutions that improve engineering workflows, productivity, and decision-making processes.

Educational Qualification

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, engineering analysis, and simulation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python programming for scripting, automation, and tool development.
  • Understanding of engineering workflows and process optimization.
  • Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge of TCL/TK for GUI and tool development will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply mechanical engineering principles to design, analysis, simulations, and engineering workflows.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based scripts, tools, and automation solutions to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Build and implement AI/ML and LLM-based solutions for engineering applications and use cases.
  • Analyze engineering data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to support business and technical decisions.
  • Optimize and streamline engineering processes through automation and intelligent solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative technical solutions.
  • Support GUI and application development using TCL/TK, where applicable.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation and digital transformation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with engineering simulation tools and data analysis techniques.
  • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks and Generative AI technologies.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with GUI development and TCL/TK scripting.
