Key Responsibilities
• Simulation Setup & Execution: Build, run, and validate high-fidelity finite 
element (FE) models for full-vehicle, subsystem, and component-level crash 
scenarios (e.g., Frontal, Side, Rear, and Pedestrian impacts).
• Structural Optimization: Analyze simulation results—such as intrusions, 
accelerations, and energy absorption—to identify design weaknesses and 
propose structural countermeasures.
• Correlation & Debugging: Correlate CAE results with physical crash test data to 
refine simulation accuracy and debug complex solver errors.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Requester to meet Safety 
requirements from OEM.
• Good knowledge of regulations (e.g., ECE,FMVSS) and NCAP (ENCAP, USNCAP, 
BNCAP etc.) assessment criteria will be an added advantage
Technical Skills & Tools
• Solvers: Proficiency in LS-DYNA (Explicit/Implicit) or PAM-CRASH is essential.
• Pre-Processors: Expertise in HyperMesh and Oasys Primer for model building 
and meshing.
• Post-Processors: Skills in Animator, or HyperView for result visualization and 
reporting.
• Safety Integration: Knowledge of dummy models, airbag deployments, and 
seatbelt system simulations.
