Experience: 6~8 years

 

Education:

  • B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Tools:

  • Design tools: Catia V5, PTC Windchill, Creo Viewer / Image nation viewer
  • Working level tools: Excel, Power Point and MS Word documents, Office 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Planner, SharePoint)

Working knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge and Hands on expertise on design using CATIA V5
    (Part, Surface, Assembly, Drawing creation, Part structural analysis, Kinematic simulations etc.)
  • Strong knowledge on drawing interpretations, drawing standards and GD&T.
  • Knowledge on manufacturing processes, Assembly processes and best practices of automotive parts machining, castings, forgings, Blow & Injection molding etc.
  • Product development and Life cycle management
  • Benchmarking and reverse engineering skills.
  • 1D Stack up analysis and tolerance study.
  • Good at self-organizing and consistent adherence to quality and timelines.
  • Good analytical & Problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge on automotive regulations & market requirements.

 

Job Description:

  • Perform design of components (Sheet metal, Plastics, Castings )
  • Perform design of Jigs, Fixtures & Test device assemblies.
  • Product life cycle management: Drawing & 3D Changes across life cycle.
  • Perform reverse engineering activities in CATIA (STL --> Skin / 3D)
  • Support Engineering activities like VAVE, Teardown & Benchmarking
  • Perform 1D Tolerance stack up analysis for assemblies & components.
  • Data Management and change management.
  • Concept creation & analysis based on customer requirements.
