**The ZF LIFETEC plant is located in Lourdes, Colon**

 

Your Tasks

  • Responsible for coordinating the implementation of the Operational Excellence program at the plant.
  • Responsible for leading continuous improvement/Six Sigma workshops and activities with the objective of maintaining the plant's transformation plan (LTP).
  • Teaching, providing support, and promoting the use of Lean.
  • Six Sigma, Shainin, and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Coordinating the implementation of the ZF Production System (PSA).
  • Managing the ZF KPI system (KP8 Tool).
  • Conducting workshops for improving plant metrics.
  • Guiding the activities of the different departments towards the concepts of Operational Excellence.
  • Fostering a culture of Operational Excellence at all levels.
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement processes, research, and development of machinery, processes, and cost reduction.
  • Participating in incident investigations and in the development of corrective and preventive action plans where the operation
  • they supervise is involved.
  • Ensure that the requirements of the Health, Safety, and Environmental System (EHS 01) are met within the area of responsibility.

 

Your Profile

  • Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts is desirable.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the automotive industry is desirable.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving tools and 8D methodology.
  • Ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 9001
  • Black Belt certification is desirable.
  • Advanced Problem Solving (Red X Shainin) certification is desirable.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
