We are expanding our team by hiring in Manufacturing Engineering area at Ponte de Lima Plant.

 

PU Manufacturing Engineer

 

Your Tasks

  • Support Project Managers in all process engineering matters.
  • Coordinate and supervise assigned technicians.
  • Develop manufacturing flowcharts and industrialization plans for projects.
  • Define manufacturing and control methods.
  • Lead Process FMEA, control plans, and capability studies.
  • Ensure product design is optimized for processing and safety compliance.
  • Resolve process-related quality issues in serial production.
  • Drive process innovation and improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate product launches and process implementation across departments.
  • Follow up on audits (E211, G54) and implement corrective actions.
  • Document Lessons Learned and maintain SharePoint.
  • Identify and apply economic and ergonomic improvements.
  • Execute actions from Global Action Management (GAM).  

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related field).  
  • 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, industrialization, or manufacturing environments. Proven experience in leading projects and managing cross-functional projects
  • Oversee process engineering activities supporting project managers and product development.
  • Lead industrialization planning, manufacturing methods, and process control strategies.
  • Drive FMEA, capability studies, and quality assurance for new and existing processes.
  • Coordinate with product design and safety teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
  • Manage audits (E211, G54) and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise technical teams and ensure effective project execution.
