Your tasks
- Participate in the training and onboarding of Quality Engineers; lead and develop the Quality Engineering team and department from a technical knowledge perspective, responsible for employee development and performance evaluation;
- Provide support in planning, prioritizing, and assigning tasks within the Quality Department, identify employee needs and manage resources effectively;
- Support other departments in planning quality-related activities and deliver quality-specific training to personnel from other departments;
- Collect, analyze, interpret, prepare, and present reports related to quality improvement actions;
- Identify data-driven solutions and implement quality improvement plans;
- Collaborate with the PPAP Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer in the preparation and verification of PPAP documentation;
- Have the authority to stop the production process, after consultation with the Quality Manager, if risks are identified that could impact the customer and/or product safety requirements;
- Coordinate the activities of Quality Technicians in data collection;
- Analyze Problem Solving activities (Ishikawa, 8D, 5 Whys);
- Monitor actions defined in PFMEA, RFMEA, Problem Solving analyses, LRA, Process Audits, and Product Audits;
- Follow up on action implementation and escalate to the Quality Manager when deadlines are not met;
- Develop programs/workshops, report defect findings, and coordinate performance improvement initiatives related to Quality Assurance;
- Participate in cross-functional team activities for PFMEA analyses and the development of Control Plans.
Your profile
- University degree (technical field);
- 2–3 years of experience;
- Proficiency in english;
- Advanced MS Office and Outlook skills - Power BI knowledge is a plus;
- Solid knowledge of quality-specific tools and methodologies;
- Proven team coordination and leadership skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and support team members;
- Experience in task planning, prioritization, and workload distribution within a team;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork;
- Ability to identify team development needs and support continuous learning and performance improvement.
