Your Tasks
• Lead, coordinate and report 360° Target Cost Setting and Management (based on Best Practice) for
selected projects
• Support Sales w Cost Disclosure (strategy) incl. CBD in front of the ZF customers
• Proactive responsible for Design-to-Cost-, Cost-Down-Initiatives (e.g. workshops), and commercial
evaluation of technical concepts/designs
• Generate Cost transparency on Project/Product level → Cost monitoring, CE Reporting, and forecasting
for Design-to-Cost/Target Cost Achievements
• Assist Benchmarking with commercial evaluations, and support tear down workshops
• Generate, check, and provide Product (and component) Cost calculations on Best Practice level
• TCE Interface partner
• First CE contact person for consulting support, and interface/sparring partner of BU-domains (Sales,
Strategy, Finance, Operations, Purchasing & Engineering)
• Develop best practice procedures, and creation of knowledge data base


Your Profile
• Degree in Manufacturing/Engineering/MBA/Business Engineering/Industrial Engineering (Bachelor,
Master, Diploma)
• Minimum 8x years of professional experience and minimum 3x years in similar roles
• Distinct cost awareness and good knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes and components
• Project Management experience with a holistic process understanding and a structured way of working
• Strong communicator, flexible, self-motivated and with an ability to work collaboratively with others on
own initiatives
• Fluent in English and at least one other major language
