Your Tasks

  • Shape Customs Strategy & Drive Compliance Excellence
    Develop and execute regional customs strategies, ensure full trade compliance, resolve daily broker issues, and support smooth shipment clearance across the region.
  • Improve Processes & Strengthen Risk Management
    Lead key initiatives to streamline reconciliation and ISF processes, enhance operational efficiency, and proactively assess emerging trade‑related risks.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers & Support Our Customers
    Manage supplier solicitation and qualification, resolve escalations, and optimize duty‑avoidance and customs processes to support customer requirements and overall business success.
  • Support Regulatory Requirements & Audit Readiness
    Handle CBP penalties and information requests, directly support government audits, and ensure every process aligns with US/CA customs regulations.
  • Train, Educate & Create Transparency Through Reporting
    Deliver internal trainings on free trade agreements and compliance, manage ACE/CARM accounts, and prepare quarterly KPI reports that support leadership decision‑making.

 

Your Profile

  • 5+ years’ experience in customs and trade management 
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Logistics, International Trade, or related field (5+ years direct experience in customs or international trade will be considered in lieu of)
  • Professional certification in customs, trade, or compliance (Preferred)
  • Experience managing US and Canadian customs processes and free trade agreements (Preferred)
  • Project management and process optimization
  • Strong communication and leadership
  • Staying organized in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
  • Building relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to travel to other sites as needed
