  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver Airbag/Seatbelt launches on time and budget. Ensure that these teams achieve all customer and company requirements for (new or changed products) programs including quality, cost, delivery, product performance and customer satisfaction—a “flawless launch”.
  • Ensure the advanced product quality planning (APQP) process is established, documented, implemented, and followed according to QS-9000/TS16949 procedure.
  • Manager programs in accordance with ZF-Lifetec new product introduction management system requirements (GDPEP) and operation launch management (OLM)
  • Serve as the expert in customer launch systems including timing, documentation, and interaction.
  • Ensure the team develops/finalizes special characteristics, design reviews FMEA, establish actions to reduce potential failure modes, develop and/or reviews control plans and communicate variance to plan early so issues can be addressed.
  • Manage product launches for products both supplied out of other ZF-Lifetec locations for sale in Asia, or products designed by ZF-Lifetec and introduced to local manufacturers by associates, joint ventures, and licensees in the region.
  • Maintain good communication within the company, customer, and suppliers
  • Maintain program cost reporting against budget.
  • Follow company HSE rules and report unsafe hazards or issues to HSE in time.
  • Responsible for department employees’ safety and ensure HSE rules be followed.
  • Ensure BBS and related HSE programs be implemented in department.
  • Support HSE to achieve company HSE KPIs.
  • Involve HSE department in the change implementation if it is linked with chemicals.
  • Other tasks assigned by leader.
