Your Tasks:

  • Simulation modelling and correlation of components, sub-systems of occupant restraint systems.
  • Occupant system simulation, result analysis and documentation.
  • Provide product/system design direction.
  • Presentation of simulation results to internal and external customers.
  • Collaboration with Engineering teams, global simulation teams and customers.
  • Simulation method development and improvement.
  • Establish simulation model approximating the physical behaviour; balance efficiency and required model details.
  • Correlate the model as per physical test results and kinematics for further optimization phase.
  • Execution and analysis of system simulation with variation of parameter to achieve optimum result for restraint performance.
  • Analysis and review of customer specifications, legal/consumer requirements, internal specification.
  • Planning of simulation, meeting timing and cost target.
  • Participate in feasibility studies where the implication of new requirements to the functionality is analyzed
  • Participate in component testing (ex. linear impactor Test), sled and crash test, collect information and parameters as input to simulation model.
  • Involve in design development stage, provide technical support/advice to technical counterparts both global and internal.
  • Improve simulation development process in terms of cost, lead-time and prediction.
  • Continuous improvement of simulation modules of knowledge about simulation software and passive safety.
  • Technical documentation in English and presentations to internal/external customers.

 

Your Profiles:

  • Strong background in dynamics / mechanics / FEM
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm in CAE analysis.
  • Ability to identify key factor among vast and irrelevant information.
  • Communicate openly, directly and timely. Listens actively.
  • Has solid presentation skills to convey information adequately and accurately to recipients/audience.
  • Experienced in CAE software- Hyperworks, LS-DYNA, PAMCRASH, RADIOSS, MADYMO
  • Good command in English (written and verbal)
  • 2~3 years of simulation experience.
