The role of the AME engineer is responsible for providing technical guidance and manufacturing expertise in the development and implementation of manufacturing planning initiatives within the business unit in global. This position is also responsible for industrialization of new products through the successful launch of programs both within time and budgetary constraints, all while adhering to ZF Lifetec company standards/policy and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manufacturing planning activities to support internal and external customers
• Module / Bag drawing : Manufacturing feasibility analysis (Sewn Process , Nesting , Folding ,Assy process)
• Change Management : Implement Bag analysis to find out the potential risk due to change. Able to communicate
with customer and explain the manufactory process at each development phase .( such as Honda BSAM)
• Work as interface to global IRS Sewing manufacturing experts to develop IRS Assy manufacturing processes
• Conduct and lead planning activities such as DFM, P-FMEA, Cycle time calculation etc. in project phase.
• Complete vendor assessments for selection initiatives through on-site visits and performance analyses.
• Material / Tie N supplier control : Yarn to Fabric , steel . Plastic , supplier nomination
• Knowledge management : Deliver L&L to global and local
Qualifications:
- Airbag development at 3 years experience or more .
- Basic manufactory process knowledge .
- Fluency in Japanese and English (communication skills)
- Launch 1 project experience at least . (Expectation )
